POWER

Dear Friends & Family:

After having a lot of beer and a bunch of other illicit substances, I bring you the POWER video. The video is inspired by India and Africa’s skin whitening cream industry which tries to get dark skinned females to basically bleach their skin in hopes they can be as “beautiful” as Beyonce. Here’s an actual commercial. Quite frankly, I’m disgusted.

The POWER video was directed by myself as well as by two gentlemen by the name of Paco and Jama. They are part of a production team more formally known as the Showboiz (and make awesome beats!)

The video stars a ravishing singer/songwriter, Nicole Faye Robinson, who is brilliant as the “scared black girl” who realizes her true power at the video’s climax (or does she?). I don’t want to give away anymore as you will simply have to watch.

You’ll also see an integral cameo by producer Neo Tempus who is handling the bulk of production for my upcoming project Man of the Year which drops December 14th, 2010.

Now without further ado, I present POWER.
